Next Steps College Graduate
Congratulations on your college graduation! I know you have been working extremely hard over the last several years to reach this exciting time in your life, well done!
If you are anything like me, you have been told to go to school, get good grades (great grades in reality), and get a good job. You did everything you could to achieve that goal so you could get a good job and now you find yourself feeling lost and unmotivated around what your next steps should be when you graduate.
If this sounds familiar to you, have no fear. We at SEKond to None Human Resource Services created a program to show you exactly what to do to get experience in your field of interest and how to jump start your career.
Imagine upon college graduation, you attend your celebration event and when asked what are you doing next, you proudly share with your family, friends and anyone who ask, what you will be doing after graduation in detail. You can also make plans about how to budget to pay you living expenses and plan for rest and relaxation time knowing you have the resources to do so.
Program
The program consist of six weeks of information designed to transition you from being a college student to a ready to hit the ground running valued employee. And don't worry if you have no experience in your field of study, we cover strategies on how to gain experience after college during the program. The program is set up in 3 Phases.
Program Phases
Phase 1 - Participants will take part in a series of activities that will help them identify a specific career path and understand what employers are searching for when hiring employees.
Phase 2 - Participants will create documents that will be used throughout the career search while also building skills that will inform employers of their credibility and expertise in regards to the career they are pursuing.
Phase 3 - Participants will learn methods of managing their career and negotiation tactics to aid in forging their own career path.
